Video Editor / Motion Designer

We are seeking a passionate video editor and motion designer to work hand in hand with our lead videographer to produce ads for META, Youtube, Google and other streaming platforms for a variety of different brands in the immersive experience and entertainment sector. The ideal candidate would be confident working independently as well as in a collaborative team environment and knows how to manage their time effectively while juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced start-up agency environment.
They are an experienced editor who values a deep understanding of the brands they work with and how to connect with their audiences through video and social media. They are excited by the opportunity to dive into new types of projects and work with a wide range of brands.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging video edits optimized for the META ad platform
- Come up with content concepts that engage specific audiences
- Have a deep understanding of our clients’ brand voices and visual identities
- Stay on top of social media trends and META ad platform changes
- Animate text and logos
- Write and edit overlaid video copy
- Utilize video effects to enhance final work
- Effectively execute feedback from the Creative Director and Lead Videographer
- Provide thoughtful feedback on work from other creative team members
- Consistently work towards growth as a creative team member in both technical skill and communication
- Effective communicate with Accounts team to ensure the meeting of deadlines
Requirements
- MUST be located in the United States
- 2-3 years of experience in a video editing position (preferably in marketing)
- Expert in Adobe Premiere and After Effects
- Able to work quickly and efficiently on tight deadlines
- Avid social media user
- Able to communicate and collaborate in a team environment
- Receptive to feedback
- Excellent at time management
- Excited to dive into a wide variety of projects and willing to learn
- Able to edit/write basic copy
- Ability to think through design work from concept to completion, and communicate thought process
- Values competitor research and sourcing inspiration
Requirements
